SUMMER CAMP: Fashionable Movie Character

Service Description

Who is your favorite fashionable movie or tv show character? Wednesday, Barbie, Cruella, Mirabel? Join us for a week of designing based on different movie characters and also the one of your choice. Each week the campers will be learning and improving on the following skills: • Machine sewing • Hand sewing • Fashion sketching and illustration • Mood Boards and Trend Research • Pattern-making and using a pattern • Cutting, pinning, ironing, pressing, and finishing • Jewelry and Accessory Design • Putting Together a mini collection *Each session ends with a Fashion show on Friday where campers showcase the work they have done for the week and model off their original designs! Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend! - Students may bring bagged lunch. - Lunch option available for additional $10, which may be given in cash day of the camp. We order from Panera bread. - Students may bring a snack. We offer popcorn, pretzels, gold fish for snack. >> Please make sure to inform up if your child has any food allergies.* - No prior sewing experience required. - Camps are drop-off. - Ages 6-11 & teens.
