Our Partnership
The Fashionable Stylista Academy's core purpose is to provide a supportive, creative and educational environment for young future designers, especially those who need help reaching their full potential.

That's why we partnered up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island. We provide classes where one-to-one mentoring relationships can flourish and ignite the power and promise of youth, as well as donate.
We are also one of the sponsors for their annual Catwalk for Kids Fashion Show.

Our Founder and Chief Stylista, Marcela Pinzon, is part of the leadership council for the Long Island chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Together we can help all youth achieve their full potential.
Upcycle Class
The "Bigs" and "Littles" learned the importance of sustainability by upcycling and recreating garments into new design concepts. They redesigned them into different garments or accessories by using trims, fabrics, patches, etc. They were taught hand-sewing, gluing, and using the sewing machines.
