Our Partners
In our commitment to provide supportive, creative and educational environment for all future designers, we partnered up with these organizations.
Nassau BOCES
Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) is a public organization that was created by the New York State Legislature in 1948 to provide shared educational programs and services to school districts.
"Students in Fashion Design class at Barry Tech are participating in an incredible work experience at The Fashionable Stylista in Syosset, NY; a fashion design school dedicated to teaching fashion design skills. Their classes and workshops are designed to provide aspiring designers with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the competitive world of fashion. The CEO/Owner, Marcela Pinzon, is an Alumni of The Fashion Institute of Technology, and she is mentoring Barry Tech students. The students are currently learning Illustrator, a program used in the fashion design field, and they are creating mood boards and sketches for their portfolios and for Barry Tech’s Fashion Show, which is held each year in May. Next, students will be learning Photoshop to design fashion flats and the end goal is for students to design their own collection of garments. A huge thank you to Marcela at The Fashionable Stylista for being such a reliable industry partner, who is committed to helping Barry Tech students bring their creative visions to life!"
