Service Description
This course is specifically designed for students who aim to pursue a career in fashion design and need to learn the skills to create a fashion design portfolio for college. Colleges such as FIT, Marist, Pratt, Parson, Cornell, and Harcum require a portfolio for admission. This course will teach the following: • Create a mood board for a sportswear collection • Learn to draw your own unique croqui template in proportion • Learn to draw/design a jacket, top, pants, and skirt on a croqui figure • Design a sportswear collection using original designs and in color with different mediums. • Learn to draw back views and flat sketches All SUPPLIES INCLUDED Please note: most colleges, in addition to a sketch portfolio, also require a Sewing project of 2 or 3 garments. To learn/fine-tune your sewing skills in preparation for these garments; register for S25 Sewing and Fashion Design Course, which is recommended. >> Last Day of Class: JUNE 12TH NO CLASSES: Feb 20, Apr 17
Cancellation Policy
OUR POLICIES – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY CLASSES, CAMPS & WORKSHOPS To maintain a focused and enriching environment, enrollment is limited in all of our classes, camps, and workshops. Payments: If you register early and select the “Cash” payment option, payment must be made within 10 days to secure your spot. After 10 days, unpaid registrations will be released to others. Rescheduling: Need to reschedule? No problem. Your payment will be credited and can be used toward any class, camp, or service. Cancellations: Please note that all payments are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will receive a full credit that can be applied toward any other service. Makeup Classes: Students enrolled in a semester-based class may make up any missed sessions within the same semester only. Makeups do not carry over into future semesters. If We Cancel: In the rare event that The Fashionable Stylista cancels a class, camp, or workshop, you will receive a full refund within 10 business days. Payment Plans: Payment plans are available upon request, with a 10% administrative fee applied.
