Service Description
Inspired by College-Level Fashion Design Programs Join us for a unique Teen NYC Fashion Design Intensive Camp designed for aspiring designers entering grades 7–12. Students will begin by developing their own fashion concepts through trend research, mood boards, and fashion illustration. We will then travel to New York City's Fashion District to source fabrics and trims for their designs before returning to The Fashionable Stylista Academy to bring their ideas to life. Throughout this four-day camp, students will experience the fashion design process from concept to creation as they design and sew one or more garments using the materials they select. Students will gain hands-on experience in fashion illustration, design development, fabric sourcing, sewing, garment construction, fitting, and finishing techniques while receiving individualized guidance in a small-group setting. This program is ideal for students who are passionate about fashion and interested in a more advanced, college-style design experience. All skill levels are welcome, and no prior sewing experience is required. Projects and instruction will be tailored to each student's skill level and experience.
