Service Description
Teen Fashion Design & Sewing (7th–12th Grade) Our Winter/Spring Teen Fashion Design & Sewing program is perfect for students in 7th–12th grade who are ready to take their creativity and fashion design skills to the next level. Designed for both new and returning students, this program provides a deeper dive into the world of fashion — from concept development and mood boards to garment construction and presentation. No experience is needed — our curriculum is progressive and skill-building, allowing each student to learn at their own pace while advancing toward more sophisticated projects. Returning students continue to refine their techniques and strengthen their design portfolios, while beginners receive guided instruction to build confidence behind the sewing machine and develop their own design voice. Throughout the semester, students will complete several fashion projects — including original garments, upcycled designs, and accessories — while learning the creative and technical skills that bring a designer’s vision to life. The program culminates with our End-of-Semester Fashion Show in June (date TBD), where students debut their collections on the runway in front of family and friends. Skills Students Will Learn: • Advanced machine and hand sewing techniques • Pattern use, garment fitting, and construction • Draping and textile exploration • Mood boards and trend analysis • Fashion illustration and technical sketching • Upcycling and sustainable design concepts • Portfolio development and presentation skills • Designing a cohesive mini collection

Cancellation Policy
OUR POLICIES – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY CLASSES, CAMPS & WORKSHOPS To maintain a focused and enriching environment, enrollment is limited in all of our classes, camps, and workshops. Payments: If you register early and select the “Cash” payment option, payment must be made within 10 days to secure your spot. After 10 days, unpaid registrations will be released to others. Rescheduling: Need to reschedule? No problem. Your payment will be credited and can be used toward any class, camp, or service. Cancellations: Please note that all payments are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will receive a full credit that can be applied toward any other service. Makeup Classes: Students enrolled in a semester-based class may make up any missed sessions within the same semester only. Makeups do not carry over into future semesters. If We Cancel: In the rare event that The Fashionable Stylista cancels a class, camp, or workshop, you will receive a full refund within 10 business days. Payment Plans: Payment plans are available upon request, with a 10% administrative fee applied.
