Service Description

Sewing & Fashion Design | Grades 1–3 This hands-on course introduces students to the fundamentals of sewing and fashion design through creative exploration, technical instruction, and practical projects. Students will learn essential sewing techniques while developing their design skills, from initial inspiration and sketching to constructing their own wearable garments and accessories. Designed for both beginners and returning students, the program builds a strong foundation in sewing and fashion design while encouraging creativity, confidence, and individual expression. Throughout the semester, students will: Learn to operate a sewing machine safely and confidently with guided instruction. Develop foundational hand-sewing techniques and fabric-handling skills. Create mood boards and explore color, fabrics, patterns, and design inspiration. Sketch and develop their own original fashion designs. Construct garments and accessories using age-appropriate sewing techniques. Strengthen technical skills, creativity, and confidence in their design abilities. Each semester introduces new design themes, projects, and techniques, allowing students to build upon their existing knowledge and develop new skills. Instruction is tailored to each student's experience and skill level, supporting continued learning, creativity, and individual progress.
