Service Description

Sewing & Fashion Design | Grades 3–6 This hands-on course introduces students to the exciting world of sewing and fashion design through creativity, technical skill development, and practical projects. Students will explore the fashion design process, from initial inspiration and sketching to constructing their own wearable garments and accessories. Designed for both beginners and returning students, the program encourages individual creativity while developing essential sewing skills and building confidence. Throughout the semester, students will: Learn to operate a sewing machine safely and confidently. Develop hand-sewing techniques and fabric-handling skills. Create mood boards and explore color, fabrics, patterns, and design inspiration. Sketch and develop their own original fashion designs. Construct garments and accessories using a variety of sewing techniques. Strengthen their creativity, technical abilities, and personal design style. Each semester introduces new design themes, projects, and techniques, allowing students to build upon their existing skills while exploring new creative challenges. Instruction is tailored to each student's experience and skill level, ensuring that both new and returning students continue to learn, develop, and progress.
